Kampi Resort is one of my favorite destinations in Kratie Province. The Kampi Resort is located in Kampi Village, Sambok Commune, Kratie District, some 15 kilometers north of the provincial seat. It is accessible via National Road 7. People who live there begin to establish picnic areas on the water between January and May because the low tide allows them to do so and attract more tourists. Especially during the Khmer New Year.
You can go there in the morning to see the dawn and then in the evening to view the sunset. It's a great location to unwind after a long day of work or studying. A car park costs 10,000 riel, and walking to a picnic area costs 1000 riel per person. Most foods cost 60,000 Riels, although you can bring your own food to picnic areas. When you arrive, many salespeople will approach you and market their cuisine and picnic spots. You walk along the path, looking for a shelter to sit in. They sell many items, including food, snacks, and clothing. When you order food from the owner's hut, they usually do not charge you a hut, but if you do not order food, they may charge you roughly 35,000 Riels. Their cuisine is fresh and excellent, and the majority of it comes from their local area. While you wait for your dinner, take in the surrounding nature, the sound of water, and the fragrance of trees. In addition, you may swim because the water is clear till you see thorns in it and it is also cold. After you enjoy that moment you can buy souvenirs that they sell. It is not expensive because all of the souvenirs they make are by themselves.
You are really special if you can travel there in the right season because this place doesn't have a whole year. If you go there in the summer you'll see and receive the same emotion as I told you. I hope you go there. See you in the following places in Kratie Province.
Location: Kampi Resort
